Backup copies - directive from the archive’s director
Due to the entry into force of the new Act, I am introducing new regulations into our archive, regarding making backup copies of documentationm1c78d0c35f8c6ad4_1516285829023_0making backup copies of documentation on electronic carriersm1c78d0c35f8c6ad4_1516285848454_0electronic carriers. The inspection and backing up of computerised data carriers is done at least once in five years. Backup copies should be stored in a way that allows finding them quickly. The backup copies can be saved on one carrier, on the condition that the datam1c78d0c35f8c6ad4_1516285868545_0data stored on them are protected from lossm1c78d0c35f8c6ad4_1516285937787_0protected from loss in case of a failure of the carrier. If making a backup copy is not possible due to the damage of the carrierm1c78d0c35f8c6ad4_1516286051897_0damage of the carrier, it is noted in the case files the data is connected to, stating: the date of noticing the damage of the carrier, first and last name of the person writing the annotationm1c78d0c35f8c6ad4_1516286104618_0writing the annotation, information that allows a clear indication of the damaged carrier. In case of inability to read the recordm1c78d0c35f8c6ad4_1516286134749_0inability to read the record on the computerised data carried that the electronic documentation was originally saved to, it is noted in the EZD system in the metadatam1c78d0c35f8c6ad4_1516286148399_0metadata describing the right package.
